Educator Resources

Welcome, Planet Hero Kids Educators!

If you are looking for a book that supports a climate-aware curriculum and that has already been embraced by school boards, we have resources for you!

“I just dipped into your book and I love it.”

David Suzuki

“In my experience as a sustainability education professional, as well as a researcher of humour and climate, the Steve and Eve world is exactly the type of hopeful, humourous, and age-appropriately empowering climate content we need for kids! We need them to feel hopeful and empowered about their futures so they will grow into conscientious adults, capable of facing climate challenges with resilience and compassionate collaboration.”

— Ashley Bangsund, Sustainability Coordinator, Vancouver School District

“This graphic novel works well with curriculum themes. Teachers will appreciate this tool to educate and entertain students. The authors get to the issues quickly…. and connect with their audience with age-appropriate images and jokes.”

Whistler Independent Book Awards

I absolutely love the storyline and can’t get over how much joy it brings to my students. Their giggles, connections, and eager anticipation for what comes next have been such a treat to witness. Truly fabulous — light-hearted, funny, compassionate, and kind — all while carrying a powerful message about saving our planet!

Tanya Rowlands, Westside Montessori Academy, Vancouver

The school boards of Vancouver and North Vancouver have adopted Steve and Eve! The first book of the series is in all of their 102 elementary school libraries.
